Sales, freebies and exciting things in store!

That's right, Saturday Nov 1st is a huge deal in the Scrapbooking community if you haven't noticed already. It is National Scrapbooking Day and there are some crazy deals all over the place!

First of all my stores will have 50% off ALL of my kits and alphas (sorry, the designer blinkies and banners will not be on sale). I also have a new kit which is darling and a grab bag with THREE new kits stuffed inside. It's worth $26 normally but will be on sale for only $4 on Saturday, $8 after that. Crazy, 3 kits for that price? They are really cute too, one in particular I was thrilled with and wanted to keep all to myself. (But where is the fun in that?) lol.


At Designs in Digital we also have 2 exciting freebies for you! Wahoo! First of all is this huge Treasure Hunt that will take you through a ton of stores. It's enormous... gigantic... and we pitched in. We're really excited about this and it's Saturday only.

We also have a beautiful kit named "New Beginnings" that will be part of a scavenger hunt. Once Saturday is over the pieces will be for sale and no longer free so check that out, they're beautiful!!!

My CT girl and friend Lisa has given me an award. :) Aww... I know I don't usually do these but thought I might as well take a break and do it.

I LOVE ....
1. My husband, without him I wouldn't be who I am.
2. My children. Each of them is so special and I can't say enough how much I love them.
3. My religion. It makes me who I am and I love that my husband and I can raise our children with our beliefs and lifestyle.
4. PSP. It's so addictive and I can either make tags or scrapbook supplies.
5. My home. It's bigger than our last and we're planning on raising the kids here.
6. My husband enjoys his job... I love that.
7. I love being a SAHM. It's hard but I enjoy my kids.

Alright... 7 blogs? Shoot. Can't I just say I love everyone? lol. Oops, the kids are getting into trouble (laughing evilly)... until next time. I love so many I can't choose! :)

Meaning behind the crazy name

Well I guess I should get around to explaining my odd name. :) I am actually Christina but my nickname Wimpychompers is odd and I realize that. There is a goofy reason behind it and no, my teeth aren't *that* bad. lol.

My best friend and I were at camp when we were 13 (it was a camp for girls and we go from the ages of 12 to 18... so fun!) Anyways, they were giving out nicknames as a joke around the campfire. My friend is a known wimp and she was nicknamed "Wimpy". They named other girls and by the time they got to me I was chewing bubble gum (I rarely ever did so this was an unusual thing for me). They nicknamed me "Chompers" which I hated but, of course, stuck. I was looking for a sign in name for something probably 10 years ago (ha, giving my age away now.. lol... I am 27 by the way) and put the two nicknames together. Ironically it worked and is not a common name (come on, who would use it?) That's how the nickname was born. I have my tutorial site "Wimpys Wonders" and then as a creator I go by "Wimpychompers Creations".

Had to share that with you today. It made me giggle.

New kits!

Well first of all, someone here loves me in the town I live... lol. Okay, so technically it's not me, it's just that our town needed a really cool store. We now have a SUPER TARGET and it's only a few miles from my house! Okay, so you may be laughing at me but oh holy cow... it's HUGE and BEAUTIFUL and I am so in Heaven. :) I took my three kids this morning, it's officially open even though the big grand opening isn't here yet. I was so thrilled... they first of all had a shopping cart that all three of my little ones could sit in. Yes, no one was walking. They were held captive! (giggling mother here) I didn't have to yell at them! Yay! I got what I needed and then some, I never can walk out of there with just a few things. (Partly why it's dangerous to let me loose there). Ahh... oh well. So that was my good news for today.

Other good news, almost forgot. I have some new kits for you and they are 50% off today (Wed) and 30% through Saturday!



I also am now selling my kits from the competition I was recently in... I appologize for anyone who missed them but you can buy them for not too much...

1. My husband and I have been married 8 years.
2. I dealt with infertility for a long time... and then within a 3 year period I had three beautiful babies! Go figure! lol.
3. My first born son was premature, 3 lbs 11 oz.
4. My daughter was born on my son's due date a year later.
5. I have a 1 year old son. Go ahead and do the math if you like, that means my kids are 4, 3 and 1. :)
6. I have only created digital scrapkits for a few months.
7. I am 6 feet tall and the shortest of the 4 kids in my family. (Hubby is 6'3 and also the shortest child of 7). And yes, our kids are *tall*.
