ANOTHER new release! :)

Okay, sneaky little me... I'm going to kill my Gypsy Girls sneaking all these new releases in! lol. Layouts will come soon I promise. I have another darling kit for you to play with and a little bird told me that this kit will be given away as a prize for Sunshine Studio's Birthday Bash next week for a lucky few so stay tuned for that... it won't be too hard but it will involve a little bit of work.

Anyways, "Say Cheese" is perfect for the obsession my own children seem to have with my camera. Whether they are smiling for yet another photo for Mommy or trying to snap their own masterpiece they are always playing with cameras! They were just begging for this kit.

I got my mojo running again after taking a few days off to breath and have a new kit coming to you soon! Here is a peek at it (and yes, I now realize I spelled sneak wrong... it's not sneek... lol)

Well girls

Alright, I didn't make it to round 4 of SYTYCD but did make it quite far... narrowing it down to 20 people must be rough. :) Thanks for the support and I really am okay with it, it puts a TON of stress on a designer and it's so hard to keep up with everything going on for me right now... thanks to this competition I was able to join a new group of designers and have some amazing things in the works so be on the lookout for that this summer. It's going to be AWESOME!

Also remember I think you only have 2 more weeks to snag my kits from the SYTYCD contest so get them while you can!

Week 3

Alright, here is my week 3 kit. We were asked to use a Beatles song for inspiration (sheesh, it was so tough to narrow that down!) I chose "Three cool cats" and made this grunged/cool kit. I'm really happy with it and there are several elements as a nod to the song.

New Stores!

Alright girls, working like a mad woman to get my week 3 done but had to take a break and let you know where my new stores are!!! Eeeh! lol

First of all I have joined the girls at Pretty Scrappy (http://prettyscrappy.com) They are really sweet and I'm looking forward to working with them. My store opens here on Saturday!!!

Next I am joining the Sunshine Studio Scraps girls! http://sunshinestudioscraps.com/

Last is a new store (so new it's not even open). I applied on a whim and they said they were going to ask me and here I applied, so excited! Can't even begin to tell you how awesome these designers are and I haven't even started working with this team just yet. (It's going to rock!) I'm joining Polka Dot Plum!!! They are opening their own store and are adding some talented designers to the team, I feel so flattered to be with them. http://polkadotplum.com/ See, the store isn't even open yet. So there we have it, my wonderful news. Ack, so much to do! I'm really happy, there have been some new doors opened to me because of this and I am so incredibly grateful. I may be nuts with 3 stores but I enjoy this so much, it's going to be so fun!

New look!

That's right, I finally got a blog makeover... okay it's a slight one but a new background and header are always nice. :) I used my kit for week 1 of SYTYCD and am loving those colors. :)

We find out tomorrow who moves on to round 3.... so nerve wracking! I'll let you know either way... I'm off to go package some more kits for my new stores.

Today was the last day Digital Candy was open so if you had something to download make sure you get that done ASAP, downloads from DC will only be available until the 30th of May! It's still so weird and bitter-sweet. Digital Candy was what *got* me interested in Digital Scrapbooking so it's a very sad day for me... as well for a lot of you I know.

I am so touched by so many of you that have offered me your support with the closing of Digital Candy. It has finally been sinking in and I think I will soon be able to announce where my new home will be located at, it does take time to get moved after all. I will be joining a few stores over the next few months, I am hesitant to become Exclusive to anyone for a while now because of what happened. It's just a personal choice, I hope no one takes that offensively.

Thank you again to the amazing ladies in this community, you really are wonderful. I also want to thank my CT team now being re-named "Wimpy's Gypsy Girls" in a loving manner by the way... they keep moving around with me and are so strong, what would I do without them?

Expect great things, I have some good news coming soon and lots of work "behind the scenes". Also go ahead and sign up for my newsletter if you want, I am going to send out occasional news and coupons so it's worth the sign-up and not a ton of junk mail. :)

Sadness

Well the owners of Digital Candy are closing their store, it was announced today (actually only a few hours ago). This makes me so sad, I had gone exclusive and was hoping for great things... someone really hurt them and instead of dragging us all into it they have chosen to take this path. I respect that and their choice but gosh it hurts...

That being said May 15th is our last day. I will be running a sale until then (will announce that soon) so come check out my store. I'm sorry for the confusion and will let you know where to buy my kits soon. Thanks for hanging in there, I know things happen for a reason so I'm optimistic for the future.

People amaze me!

So much drama in the designers world lately, makes my head spin... thankfully I wasn't involved but it still surprised me at how people acted.

Then today I got emails and pm's from several fellow designers letting me know they found a kit of mine being shared on the internet, among a ton of other kits from other designers, that was a kit we sell. NOT cool. The culprit is being attacked on all sides and we're hoping to shut her down ASAP. Unfortunately I knew this kind of thing happens and thankfully take it with a grain of salt so to speak. Now I do NOT want to find this happening again of course but if we can get the kits *off* her sharing guru site we're doing something at least.

Just be warned, if I *ever* catch someone sharing my kits it will get back to me, we as designers watch out for each other. Heck, we give freebies all the time, is that not enough?

Off my soap box. I came to just express how grateful I was that so many cared to tell me and make sure I knew. Thank you all of you...
